Bill Archer will join us at the Festival of Leaves signing copies of his new book Images of America series with photographs of Bland County people and places.
- June 11th - Family Day in Village - American Indian Storyteller Brown Eagle & Absorokee will be located in the new meeting lodge sharing stories
- Hands on activities for the entire family. 11 am to 3:30 PM
- Admission $10 Adults & Children ( under age 4 is Free).
- Current members of the Military & Veterans $8.
- Seniors $8

- May 1st - 14 - Gardening- Planting of 3 sisters gardens in village & outside palisade
- May 29 - June 4th - Basket Week - Creating baskets for use in the village.
- Summer
- June 11th - FAMILY DAY-
- June 13-18th - Hide tanning demonstrations
- July 4th - 9th- Tool making, Recreating bone and stone tools that would have been needed in a pre-historic village site
- July 18th -23 - Accessories week, feathers and uses, bags, jewelry
- August 1st - 6th - Pottery Making - Gathering and processing clay
- August 8th - 13th Pottery creating pots, beads, boiling stones and firing pottery

- September- Ancient preservation of foods - gathering of garden produce - saving seeds

Museum Events
Bland County 150th Sesquicentennial 1861-2011- Celebrations throughout the county.
Native in a "Civil" War - Exhibit about the role of Native Americans during the United States Civil War. April - December
October 8th, 2011 - Wolf Creek Indian Village & Museum will have a booth at Bland County Festival of Leaves. William R. "Bill" Archer will be at our booth selling and signing copies of his new Images of America, Bland County book. Come by one of our favorite festivals and say hello.
October 22, 2011 "Native Americans in the Civil War" 2 PM in the Museum. Carroll Thompson will discuss the participation of American Indians and their role in the Civil War.
Development of the Howard MacCord trail and archeological dig. Check back for information.
