Inclement Weather Schedule

The Wolf Creek Indian Village part of our museum is an outdoor facility. Though scheduled hours are posted, it is subject to inclement weather closings and seasonal maintenance requirements. Inclement weather such as snow & ice prevent patrons from using the driveway to the museum or paths to the village safely. (In the past, because of the incline of the driveway, visitors have been stuck in 4 wheel drive vehicles!) Visitors are urged to confirm site opening times with the Museum to avoid disappointment. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. A small staff is usually there or can be reached by email and we check phone messages regularly.

Regularly scheduled hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10 am – 5 pm

WEEK OF DECEMBER 7^th – 13^th

Closed Sunday & Monday Dec 7^th & 8^th

Tuesday Dec. 9th – 10 am – 5pm

Wednesday Dec. 10th – 10 am – 5 pm

Thursday Dec 11^th – 10 am – 1:30 Gift shop open. Closed early due to inclement weather

Friday Dec. 12th – Closed due to ice formed on driveway.

Saturday Dec. 13^th. Bland County Historical Society Quarterly meeting is scheduled to be held at WCIV at 1 pm. If the snow or ice has hampered the driveway, meeting location will be changed to Bland County Library in Bland, VA. Check back for updates that will be posted by 9 am Saturday.

Thanks to all especially County Administrator Jonathan Sweet. He helped to get our driveway scraped and the Harvest Celebration was a hit on Saturday Nov. 22.

If you did not get attend you missed some really good food. We hope to repeat it next year.
